I know most of you aren’t going to give this the time of day but I'm posting anyway. This is for a Political "Positive Politics" Campaign Tee Shirt contest. Even if I wasn't conservative I probably would have chosen McCain because there are a zillion Oboma tee designs out there. Anyway, I was inspired by McCain's service to my Country by serving in the US Navy. This was the perfect opportunity to use my inspiration of traditional tattoo art, evoke the name of Sailor Jerry and try to bang out an old school tattoo design. I really appreciate this era of tattoo design, because back then it was ok to be proud of our Armed Services and you could still be a patriot. <div style="color:red">***UPDATED***</div> I'm proud to announce that I actually won this contest!

The pandas wish to create their own nation in the mountainous regions of China. Proposed region is mapped out in dashed lines. The 2 characters on the flag say, simply, "panda". Six pantone spot colors on an olive shirt, created mainly in Illustrator. Number of colors can be cut down if necessary. Works well on red, neutral hues, and many shades of green. So this design started out as a poster project that was showcasing a brush library that I had contributed to. After a while... I decided to play with it a little. A little turned into a lot. And I'm left with this to submit. I named it <b>Banana Split Wig</b> because splittin' wigs a very trill term. And if every wig that got split revealed hidden magical banana split surprises... I just think that would be epic as fuck. Hope you guys dig.
