This design was commissioned for Threadless Select; it's available NOW. They said the sky was the limit so my idea here was to do a new twist on the striped sailor pattern. I thought I'd add a snake "hiding" in the stripes. Tried to keep it simple but busy. (I had to resub because for one...I deleted it on accident...and I had to change a few bits) So i stayed up Past 2am in the morning a few days ago, couldn't sleep until I finished this or else I'd be tossing and turning all over the place thinking about it. This all started with lunch, looking at garbage pail kids cards and watching Return of the Living Dead, then it evolved into breakfast with a cereal box. I wanted to take it to the limit and think what could be worse than eating gross things for breakfast and then throwing them up at lunch. Well, what's more gross than actually eating parts of your own body. I don't know...there is probably a lot, but for this particular series, there isn't. So I was watching Return of the Living Dead today and I was thinking about how cool a shirt would be if zombie/skeleton "Tarman" was in it. So I thought, Why not do something similar, just for fun. I needed a warm up anyways because I hadn't drawn anything in a week because I took a little vacation a.k.a. visit some old college friends and party my face off I referenced something that I did a long time for an old website layout for myself http://www.ithew.com/images/art/art-web.png tweaked it a bit, looked at some old skateboard graphics and made it outrageously colorful and this is what I got I don't know what to do with it. Should I send it in for threadless, for DBH? Should I shop the design idea around a bit? (by the way, I'm terrible at titles) SOLD!

This is a design I just thought about while listening to the exploited. I'm a big punk rock fan and I think the Union Jack is a great iconic symbol from that time, plus it looks good on a tee.
