My design for the <a href="http://www.threadless.com/loves/innovation">Threadless Loves Innovation</a> challenge. I wanted to combine an old, vintage aesthetic with motifs from both the past and possible future. Innovation is a very broad term but to me brings to mind science, technology and great inventions that have shaped our world. The light bulb fruits are a visual metaphor to suggest the growth of new ideas that lead to innovation and the mechanical beetle and bird are a manifestations of this. simulated process on sage stone.

The soul in the machine of this robot is mighty indeed, with the humanity that once fused its sensors with life long gone from the world but not forgotten.
