I feel as though Emptees has had an effect on my subject matter... haha For the DBH FTSK contest: http://www.designbyhumans.com/vote/detail/18019 It's a new style I'm working on, using my watercolor stock/halftones for shading. I'm also hand drawing and inking stuff now, I feel like it allows for more dynamic compositions than just collaging in PS. It'd be super cool if the yellow stuff would be printed as gold foil, or metallic ink, that's why I didn't shade those areas at all. Hope you guys like it!

This is a submission for Four Year Strong. A while back I had drawn Kali and then just shelved it hoping that a project would come along that would fit. The only art direction I was given is that they liked super rock stuff like snakes, chicks, etc... I figured that this might fit the bill. I inked it and live traced it. I REALLY need to get a new Wacom (I have a Graphire and hate it) and start seriously inking digitally. This ended up not being accepted by FYS. A band called Irepress bought the design.
