I've been looking at DBH, and some of their oldest shirts have some of the most complex execution, such as applique patches, reverse seam shirts, stuff like that. They've been doing great with huge prints lately, but I'd like to see them doing some more "mixed media" applications as well. So there's appliques, silver foil, and metal studs on the front and back.

Don't really see too many sports shirts on here. University of Florida is having a shirt contest amongst the students to make the ticketholder tee for the next football season. So, if it wins, potentially tens of thousands of people wearing it, pretty cool! I'm sure they're printing it on the super cheap, so a 4 color limit, 12"x12", durrr. So I just went with 2 colors, trying to maximize visibility and all. All on an eye-searing orange! The past few years have been very flat, simple collage designs, so this is a bit different. It's done for the most part in my head, but maybe you guys have some crits?

I feel as though Emptees has had an effect on my subject matter... haha For the DBH FTSK contest: http://www.designbyhumans.com/vote/detail/18019 It's a new style I'm working on, using my watercolor stock/halftones for shading. I'm also hand drawing and inking stuff now, I feel like it allows for more dynamic compositions than just collaging in PS. It'd be super cool if the yellow stuff would be printed as gold foil, or metallic ink, that's why I didn't shade those areas at all. Hope you guys like it!
