I think I know what you're talking about. Firstly Derek Deal told me he was bugged about the monsters face being blocked by the trident like it is and I think that's part of it. Originally I wanted to make sure I had plenty of room at the top for Rockett text. That's also why the fish is so dark, he was sort of a background element. I think it might help if I raised the monster up some and maybe brightened him up. I didn't really put a ton of thought into it before I mocked him up again. I don't think DBH lets you make revisions though, so for right now he's stuck like this. Even the lines that he is composed of fade from black on the left to brown on the bright side. The glowing eye popping out of the dark background was a big part of what I wanted from him. But now a few people have said they dislike the eye, so I'm not sure what I want to do with it.
