Don’t know how well this type of style will go over here or on DBH. I’ve been looking at DBH, and some of their oldest shirts have some of the most complex execution, such as applique patches, reverse seam shirts, stuff like that. They’ve been doing great with huge prints lately, but I’d like to see them doing some more "mixed media" applications as well. So there’s appliques, silver foil, and metal studs on the front and back.

the front looks great..the back...it’s a little too commercial, heraldry is a bit overdone in my opinion, and this might be the reason why ppl go not loving this. but, i have to say i can see lots of work in here and the execution is flawless.
(PS> not a big fan of the copper studs on the back, it’s really not my style)
sorry if this was more about what i don’t like. on the other hand, i would wear the front part..a lot:)

I think the design is well executed, and very marketable compared to the designs seen on clothing lines such as Monarchy, Affliction, and Aqua VI. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. I know in my freelancing experience I get plenty of clients wanting me to mimic these styles. I could see this selling at a high end boutique for around $50-$60. Great work.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it’s more of a commercial what-the-people-want kinda design. I like those kinds of things though, big, detailed pretty things, Monarchy’s a favorite.
