i think if his lips were the same green or slightly darker green than his skin it would look awesome. I totally dig the linework and color, it's just the neon pink lips that are throwing me a bit. you still get my love :D

If by pencil sketch you mean 'This is where I traced a halloween mask'. Why lie?

Yes, heavyprints, I often take things like Halloween masks and other corny shit to make line drawings. They usually make for rad graphics. I really don't see why this is an issue Dude. Do you really need me to post all my resource images along with a sketch so you don't have to Google around so much?...really what's wrong with using a mask to make a graphic? You just bummed that you didn't think of it?

Nah, bro. Did you ever stop to think that someone took the time to design that mask and you just yanked their work and plastered it on a shirt as your own? It's plagarism, and It's wrong.

I mean, as illustrators we all reference things. It helps us with proportion, spacing, perspective, etc. But there's a difference between looking at a photo to try and wrap your mind around a specific pose or nuance, and laying tracing paper over someone elses work, then calling it yours.

Would'nt plagarism constitute him desigining another mask that was a rip of the original, and selling it as his own?

I don't know, if I made a mask and saw it illustrated on a t-shirt, I would be stoked that someone liked it enough to use its look and nuances in a different media. And more so, I would buy the shirt itself.

Whatever, I'll be out back shooting up black tar heroine, good talk guys, see you out there.
