From the DBH submission page:

This was a design I had tried to do long ago, but not having any photos of rabbits it never came together properly. I didn’t want to use stock photography because the design was already so simple I felt it needed a personal touch or it would barely even by my art.

A few days ago a rabbit hopped up on my patio and I took a photo of it. So I finally got to do this the way I had always wanted. Thanks little bunny.

note: the halftones got a little mushy when I resized this

    I like it a lot, especially the halftones. But it’s still not quite there for me

    What do you suppose its lacking? This one has already been submitted, but what could use work for future designs?

    I discussed the halftones on the hand with another artist and we both agreed it distracted from the main focus of the design. Conceptually it would make more sense to half it halftoned though, so in tat regard I definitely agree.

    i can see what you’re saying, maybe a little more line work then? something subtle that just adds a little bit to it so it doesn’t look so blank but wont distract from the focus

    I like the rabbit and marker stevo but I don’t think it needed the hat underneath. It feels a little like it’s been put in there to add a concept it doesn’t need to work.
