    Thanks, I used a crappy brush and some ink. I've got the original and some of my finger puppet tests on my site that's getting built just go to the Misc. section under sketchbook and it's number 3:

    There's a place in Berkeley called the Creative Reuse Depot and one day I stumbled on a stack of zip-a-tone and letraset letters. Some had been stepped on so it made a great distressed type but I usually scan it in or make my own in photoshop.
