im not knockin this design at all, i just would like to know the reason this got so many loves? is it from something that i didnt see or read? i know paint the stars has that one shirt called 'stay gold' but i dont think it has anything to do with fighting.
cajun metal said 5 months ago
I can't say why it got so many loves but I'm proud of how the very few elements came together to make something that subtly references something nostalgic without hitting you over the head. And tshirts, as frames, work really well with illustrations just like in comic books.

im asking what it references, i dont understand it.

Greasers and rumbles entered into public awareness when S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders became a national best seller and more so when Francis Ford Copalla made a movie out of it in the 80's. Think back and you'll remember a slew of things during the 80's and early nineties that were based on 50's nostalgia. Anyways that's where this stems from.

ah nice, i was born in 90 so i dont really have anything to think back on. looks good, not my time though. i read the sequel to the outsiders, i dont remember what its called, in 8th grade
