I love this on principle. I can’t stand farmville... and really get sick of the constant updates about who’s just lost a cow or something like that.
I may even have to buy one.

hahahaha great, but would like to see, less text and that cow bigger, and maybe your slogan you wrote under the mockup.

    Thanks chaps.

Great advice oygen, I have a few other versions in mock up stage at the moment, this version is simply in keeping with my 'No-One Reads Your Stupid Tweets' design.

i don’t think this is executed all that way, but the concept probably would have made a killing a few months ago. is farmville still big?

Thanks antz, is the tight leading a personal preference ? I was going for maximum typographic impact.

Thanks for your thoughts Dobi, perhaps I should re-visit this design. According to Wikipedia :

"Since its launch in June 2009, FarmVille has become the most popular game application on Facebook, with over 82.4 million active users and over 23.1 million fans in March 2010. The total FarmVille users are over 20% of the users of Facebook and over 1% of the population of the world."

    Scary.

Well im sure preference comes into it, but in terms of legibility, i think the tight leading affects it. Having the kerning wider than the leading generally makes things less comfortable to look at. Im not saying what you have done is bad by any means, just putting it out there :]

It’s done, the leading is a touch roomier - thanks for the feedback antz.

If I wore this around where I live, (vermont) I would probably actually offend people who had real farms.
