My mind has been racing as to what to make for this. This shirt is the 3rd one I made for it, and I liked it the most. When I think of the bathroom I think of hygiene and pooping. my poop design was terrible. toothbrushing just seemed right.

I hate to be blunt but 99% of what oz2y’s saying is absolutely true. There does seem to be a bit of bias favoritism around here. But is that not to be expected? More than half of the designs I’ve seen on this site that get all the "OMG THIS IS AMAZING"'s and the "DUDE THIS ROX"'s are worth not even looking at again.
Don’t get me wrong there are some incredibly talented people on here. However, good talent doesn’t always equal phenomenal designs. Most of the designs have the same style anyway. But whatever.

dude thats the thing i know we wouldent get loves but for this competition i know that.Same reason i am fighting for this design is a compatition =) im not one of those people that just post a design and thats it im fighting for my design and like i tell other DESIGNERS you wouldent want to know whats going on? why an unfinish looking shirt with stock photo is beating a creativity design.

You keep bringing up the "stock photo unfinished shirt"..It’s uncalled for, Pearls to Pigs isn’t insulting your design. Stop taking it so seriously. And in no way is it about playing favorites. You and Pearls to Pigs have been members for basically just they same amount of time, no one really knows either of you, so that theory is thrown out the window.

the way i see it though, dude, is keep doing your thing and have fun doing it. that’s all that matters. not internet popularity or acclaim of your work. if i posted something on here and people said they weren’t into it, i’m not going to lose sleep over it or call out someone who is getting more than me, you know?
to be 100% honest, i don’t dig either of them, but why not give a love to the dude that is handling things gracefully (him) and not taking a dump on his competition.
it may be BS, but i think the way someone presents themselves and their work definitely has an influence in if people dig it or want to buy it.
totally nothing personal against you ozzy. i apologize if it sounded like that, i’ll go ahead and take away my love on this one. but think about it dude, whether you feel like you’re being cheated or not, is this really worth wasting your time over?

No, everyone on here is from all over the place. We give eachother a hard time when their designs suck. Every couple of weeks or so, someone new comes on here and gets all offended because they haven’t shown their design work to anyone else but their friends [who have stroked their egos up really hard]. Then, when they put up shit work, they get negative comments about it and cry all day and post cry baby threads about it.
Take another look.
Sitting duck used to suck balls. People ripped on his designs and he got better. [Sorry Josh!] EZ called him "Sitting Suck".

Is that what you’re mad about? He used a stock image for a boring design - which I said, and he knew before he uploaded it - and used Impact - and you spent a couple hours on yours. Welllllll, I’ve spent hours and hours on designs that look like shit. It happens dude. Sometimes, people go the cheap route, and don’t do a ton of work, and use system fonts, and their designs come out looking better cohesively than other people who spend hours hand drawing, scanning, tracing, using horrible color combinations, etc.
Ask Jeff, I do stuff that sucks. He’s seen it.
But, here’s one thing I will not do. I will not say "YOU oz2y, have no sense of creativity."
I will tell you when your design sucks. So will a lot of other people. I won’t attack you personally, unless you attack me.
So, stop acting like a little bitch.

WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?! I worked my ass off and put up with a TON of shit to get where I am now. I’ve still got a long ways to go as well, you can critique the hell out of my artwork all you want, but when you start attacking me personally acting like I’ve got some sort of fan club? go fuck yourself. Jimmy is right, I did suck balls ... and people told me so, I wasn’t getting any love from anyone, that didn’t matter, I just took their advice and got better. It’s not a "fanclub" it’s a community that has mutual respect for eachother. Your design for this competition looks like a 3 year old got ahold of illustrator, the colors don’t work, the composition doesn’t make any sense, and even for an abstract piece, it still looks like you just "threw something together". Then you come in here crying about not getting any loves against a toothbrush, I didn’t love either of them, if I were going to, it’d be the toothbrush, because it’s aesthetically pleasing ... I don’t even know this guy, his is just pleasing to the eye, and yours looks like design vomit. If you want to get anywhere in the design world, you gotta learn to take criticism better than this, you just threw any cred I thought you might’ve had out the window.
also, if you’d paid attention, my last few designs are sucking hardcore on the loves. I don’t know why they are, but I honestly don’t care.

this is the 6th most commented tee on the entire site, hahaha. oh man... i feel so weirded out by all the awkward/negative attention this shirt has been given. it’s also funny that it’s sort of a chat thread haha. this is like the 10th tee shirt design i’ve ever made and i don’t think anyone is too terribly stoked on their 10th design. so i hope to improve and eventually start kickin' butt and takin' names. thanks to everyone who voted and everyone who had some good criticism- i learned a lot from this whole experience.
