Impending Doom - ZOMBIES! image

yea, I know zombies are overdone, but I really enjoyed doing this piece. all the zombies are hand drawn by me, as well as the typeface. The band requested some zombies from me after seeing my Stick To Your Guns zombie shirt. hope everyone likes it! I’ll eventually be adding the lyrics "Your fate’s been sealed" somewhere on here, haven’t quite figured how to do so yet.

oh yea, this is only 4 colors, sweet.

    Damn you’re too good my man! I love the color schemes but I feel there’s something off with the large patch of browns. The two heads on the bottom seem to be clashing and you can’t say what the focal point of the design is. I’d bump up the size of the guy’s head on the right so it becomes the main "zombie" hehe I’d probably also flip the orientation of the left zombie so it creates more balance. Just something to think about. But all in all you’re illys the shit brotha! I think you’re the most hardworking guy on emptees! Keep it up!

    the dude in the front almost looks like the character from "the gorillaz" The font is kinda meh too. I’m definitely digging the concept and placement though.

    yea, probably ... I think I somehow spaced the drop shadow a bit too far from the text while moving stuff around ... I think if I bring it in tighter it’ll look good.

    what’s wrong with the type for you? it’s for a christian death metal band ... so it’s obviously going to be a little unreadable.

    i personally dont like how tall and thin it is. dont like the drop either. but i do like the glowing eye’d zombies in the back, i just did something similiar with a design with a bunch of rats, its a nice touch.

    loved the comic! The game sucked sooo bad.

    actually he has the ability to, the guy that bought it is part owner of merchconnection and requested that everything fall off the edges. this is like the 8th or 9th design I’ve done for him, so no worries on the print sizes :D

    loved the comic! The game sucked sooo bad.

    yea, it’s too bad about the game being so shitty ... I hear they’re making it a movie too ... could be sick, let’s hope so.

    I tested on it for a couple weeks for the xbox 360 team ... I wasn’t impressed.

    I do love Mike Patton though ... i don’t know how i forgot his voiceover work. Mr. Bungle - Goodbye Sober Day is one of my fav. songs.
