This is another design that I created for my childens line that I'll be launching this summer. I'm targeting kids from around age 3-6. Obviously, I'm also trying to appeal more to the parents who shop for their children. This is a 2 color design.

Rusty said: I really like the design. It does, however, remind me a lot of Johnny Cupcakes. Even though the style is very different, a skull and crossbones on a cupcake is very similar to a cupcake and crossbones. Maybe I'm just paranoid after Johnny gave me a speech about trademark infringement at one of his lectures, or maybe he's so good at branding that whenever I see a cupcake I will forever think of Johnny Cupcakes. Anyways, very nice work.

I agree! The artwork is really great, but I would take out
the skull & cross bones. Just sayin!

Hey Rusty, thanks for your feedback..... hum, man I hate hearing this. I really don't want folks to think I'm ripping on JC and I like the skull on it. I guess I'm going to have to think about this or find a different way to execute it. I really feel like I need something to balance the cutesy aspect of the design. I think that last part of your statement "maybe he’s so good at branding that whenever I see a cupcake I will forever think of Johnny Cupcakes" is very true, but on the other hand it didn't occur to me... haha

When I saw the thumbnail of this, I did think JC. But after seeing a detailed version, I can just tell it's not. I really like this though.

Nothing in this can exactly be called infringement or a rip. You're in the clear, as far as legal matter go!
