High Roller tee shirt design by sittingduck - Josh Stomberg

Did this for Tcycle. He asked for something that included lots of slot machine images and had to be 6-8 colors. This is what I came up with! All done by mouse in illustrator :D

its a fun shirt but the line weight on the lemons seems off in comparison to everything else and the big seven’s outline is huge in comparison. i think a more consistent line weight would make this and the rest of your pieces stronger.

+ the detail on the strawberry doesn’t fit well to me.

please understand i’m not reaming you, you are def one the most improved people on this site.

I love it in the sense that I could never do anything like that, well done. I really like the bright colours, and the way youve only used 7. well done.

I do freelance for a gambling company and have to draw this stuff all the time.

Cool shirt. I agree with the comment on the line weights. You need some consistency.

nice! i agree with the other line comments, your weights should get bolder as the objects become closer.

also the colors are a little hot for me, but its a great design.

doing those fixes would def. make this an sweet design. not to say it needs to be super detailed since that clearly wasn’t what you were going for.

thats kinda backwards… you agree with the comment but i said the weights should be consistent… thus they shouldn’t be bolder as they are closer… makes it feel cheap a little bit. like he obviously blew some items up and shrunk them down.

ok, i didnt mean to be misleading, i meant consistent with some kind of perspective. i dont necessarily think the lines should all be the same weight, but visually ‘consistent’ with the visual depth he’s creating.

If he slimmed down the huge seven, then beefed up some of the foreground objects (a little), i think it would look more unified. right now some objects look like that have depth and others just look pasted on.

Would the defense like to cross-examine the witness??

You need to get a bunch of bananas and an orange in there somewhere. That’s typical slot symbols.

I just got cleared to use more colors, so this is going to change a ton.
