I know its just the line work, but I wanted to get some feedback on this, what colors would be cool? I spent a shit load of time on this one, lettering and character were all hand drawn then scanned/traced in illustrator. freakin LONG process. anyone got any ideas?

i really like that a lot. type is awesome. You could definitely do a lot of things with colors. Maybe neons on a white shirt.

ditch the earring, draw the other nstril, ditch the rockett text in the hat, resize the text , also the messed up lip seems unecessary, its still better than the last one

good idea, but that’s not my logo to throw on there, I’d have to clear it with rockett and the original designer first.
If he’s holding a nostril closed for a snot rocket, how would i draw in the other nostril? :D

I’d say ditch the earring, change the ring to the devil lock, and i’d even go as far as saying get rid of the hat. hat’s not really their style. text is dope tho and overall the line work as a whole is rad.

yeah but your doing the design for rockett, its there logo.
its the same thing like doing a design for a band, and they want you to use there logo in it, they payed for it, and own the rights so its not a problem.

i like it, drawing is great.
pencil is the way to go!
the “line artwork” has a cool theme to it…play around with some accenting colors.
hat could be Gold, try some Reds in the design.
color in the ring, earring, the logo, mouth drips, stitching, etc

I think you should beef up some of those line weights so it’s easier to tell what’s going on. Once you get the linework looking really tight it will look even better when colored.

i like the illo especially the text, but there’s something very 90’s about the character, like he could be on the cover of a limp bizkit album or something. Id ditch the earing like ez said, and the cap, or if you keep it, make it a suicidal tendencies, bike messenger flip up type number.
other than that i dont know, the nails really bother me. I usually like gnarly stuff, puke, boogers, gore etc, but the bad hygene just really urks me for some reason.

yeah he definitely looks too 90’s. maybe turn the hat into like a straight brim new era, everyone wears those now, and maybe make the earring a gauge instead of the huge 90’s hoop.
