Thanks again to Derek for this awesome design. I think it captures the film perfectly! The style, colors, and elements all work together really well. Although I liked the original design, I felt that the composition needed a bit more tightening up. The friend's face on the right was a little large and kept my eye from moving around the rest of the illustration. Plus, it sort of eclipsed the demons, which are arguably the coolest part. And yeah, the house and the silhouettes were cool but did seem to look like a weird dream bubble. But anyway, Derek was amazing to work with and listened to my comments and came up with a final design that I (and he - I hope) was completely satisfied with. Look for this to be available next week! Just got it printed and it looks awesome! Derek also did another kick ass design for me that will be out in a month or so... :) On a side note, The Gate was actually filmed at my friend's friend's house in Toronto. Everything from the interiors to the exteriors were done there and he said it all still looks the same. I gotta take a road trip at some point to check it out. 12024

I would have liked the design to be as large as Derek intended in the mock up, but the printer I gave it to (on of my main guys) is limited to certain sizes. I think it still looks great, but I may be giving newer designs to my other printer that does more of my higher volume, more colored designs. 12024
