And for me it's not the time you spend on these things it's the end product, you (and i say "you" in the general sense) can sometimes spend hours on something and it turns out looking really poor. I like those little monster guys, I've just been hesitant to use them on anything because pretentious designers will call me out on it. But at the end of the day it's those "pretentious" designers that are using that time and not being paid accordingly.. I've been in the Corporate Design and Print business for a few years now and i find that to succeed you need to have fixed design charges!
