Thanks guys. It got all squished up, but the idea is to have a devil that is powered but something like steam power, only instead of steam it's the souls of the damned. I saw an ivory carving that was decked out, and demons being immortal would get bored rather quickly I would imagine. It would seem to be a natural step to whittle way at there horns until it was heavily decorated to the point of almost being unrecognizable. Nothing that new really, kind of a twisted mess of screaming faces. The bottom most one is wearing a priest collar, that black and white collar they wear. Just a little something to show my distastes for people telling me what I think god should be when I can look it up on my own time. The sides were originally going to be some sort of exhaust vent for the souls to escape. I am starting to think of art as a bit of a cat and mouse game. When I feel that I have gotten to comfortable with a style, I find I get bored with it, or that I start to notice it more in my day to day, and that's what I want to get away from. I like the invention of it. Making something out of nothing. I would say that to stop growing would be the biggest failure I would make, more then a few marks out of place.
