The prodigious instrument (and its Austin Powers-sounding offspring, the MiniMoog) went on to become a staple of PROG and KRAUTROCK. Today, the Moog is fetishized by vintage-instrument enthusiasts such as Beck, as well as dance-music impresarios like Fatboy Slim, who remixed a track on a kitschy Best of Moog compilation."
