Hey everyone. I've not been around these parts much lately. A lot of drama was going down and turned me off a little bit.

Anyway, what I have been doing is creating a new website that has nothing to do with tee shirts whatsoever. It's a pop culture site with two icons paired against each other and imagines who would win if they were to throw down.

I put the site together pretty quickly and it's only been live the past couple of days. If you could check it out and let me know what you think of it (and vote and comment on the site) I'd really appreciate it.

Took these today at a local park (County Farm Park). Ann Arbor has a thing where people can rent out small garden plots in various places throughout the city.

I'm thinking that it couldn't hurt since bands would be a good market for one inch buttons, but I don't know if anyone really uses it anymore.

Should I just focus more on Facebook and Twitter? What do you think?

Hey guys,

I have this idea, but I'm not sure the best way to go about it or if anyone would be down for it at all.

Basically, now that I've got <a href="http://buttons.humanboy.com" title="HumanBoy's Button Press">HumanBoy's Button Press</a> going, I want to open a little button shop on there where people can pick out a 4 pack of buttons. These will mostly be random designs that I come up with.

However, I was thinking it could be cool to do some special artist series sets or something. But I don't know if any of you would be down or the best way to go about paying the artists for them.

The way I've got it in my head would be to sell a 4 pack at about $3.50. The artist would get 50¢ per button - $2.00 per pack sold. Then at the end of the month, tally how many of their pack sold and then send a payment for that amount.

Does anyone have any ideas on that or think that it's the most ridiculous thing they've ever heard? Give it to me straight - I want to know your opinions.

Alright, I&#8217;m curious about something. As mentioned before, a lot of the bigger clothing companies are on emptees so I&#8217;ve been wondering this.

How do you manage to design and work with t-shirts full time? I&#8217;ve been making my own stuff for about 5 or 6 years now and can&#8217;t really afford to not have a job. I know that it takes time and all but what else could you do to supplement your income other than take orders from someone?

I know a lot of you design for bands and stuff. A lot of you design for other companies too. How do you really get your foot in the door to do something like that?

Hey Guys,

I'm getting married next month! We're going to go to Stowe, Vermont (we live in Ann Arbor, MI) for a couple of days and eloping. We're going to go and tour Ben & Jerrys and all that cool stuff.

We started planning and paying for all this around Autumn last year and since then hours at work have been cut back and money's getting tight. We can still afford to go and everything but not working for a week is going to make things rough when we come back and have to pay rent and stuff.

So, in order to try and offset that a little, I'm trying to get rid of some of these designs I've got laying around. I'm not asking much for them, but I'd like to get <strong>more than $100</strong> for each of them. Preferably much more but I'm kind of in an "I'll take what I can get" situation.

<a href="http://emptees.com/tees/15933-panda-dude-or-a-better-name"><img src="http://cache1.emptees.com/images/60566/pandadude.jpg" alt="Panda" /></a>

I'm also willing to part with the following domain names: http://www.heartonsleeve.net (redirects to Quixotic Clothing) and http://www.merchdive.com"

I can also do web work.

You can also buy one of the few tees left in stock at http://www.quixotic-clothing.com (use <strong>emptees</strong> at checkout for 15% off already super low prices)

Hey guys. I've been thinking about submitting some shirts to design contests. I'm not sure which contests they'd fit into best though.

http://emptees.com/tees/15933-panda-dude-or-a-better-name
http://emptees.com/tees/7071-seven-ate-nine-revised

I was thinking threadless for both. Maybe dbh for the panda dude.

Any suggestions?

So, on a whim I bought this domain name sometime last year I think. I was going to try and build some sort of t-shirt shopping mall similar to bigcartel and I've gotten distracted.

It's just sitting there without a use and I thought someone around these parts might be interested in using it.

I'd be willing to get rid of it for around $10.

this is all I did with it: http://www.merchdive.com

I'm thinking about selling my Antec Dynamic 4 color printing press with a flash dryer, extra platens, some screens, squeegees, and inks.

This is what the press looks like: http://www.dickblick.com/products/dynamic-4-color-screen-printer/

I'm not sure how or how much it would cost to ship, but the base price I'm thinking is around $1,250.

Anyone interested or know of a better place to try to hawk this stuff?

Hey, I literally just finished up my portfolio (again). I was wondering if I could get some feedback on it. I don't think there are any bugs but if you spot anything (typos, broken links, etc...) please let me know.

I coded it all myself (except for the wordpress portion) - PHP/MySQL and CSS.
