In the past i always had a hard time figuring out just how i wanted to go about texturing scaled animals in my work. For the most part i would just add a few shapes to kind of generalize the details of the skin but recently on a project i decided i was going to go balls out and draw every scale. holy crap right? Well I put together my own little method for getting the tedious task done so i didn't rip my face off or potentially damage any of the equipment in my office hulk smash style. Don't get me wrong, its still going to take patience, but hopefully this will help. Oh and this is my first video tutorial so go easy on me in the comments.
