I just read on Facebook that "it is currently impossible to convert Facebook groups into Pages. We recommend that you create a Page and notify your group members about it. Unfortunately, you will not be able to send your group a message if your group has more than 5000 members."
I could have sworn Johnny Cupcakes had a Group Page and then contacted FB to have it converted to a fan page? Am I wrong on this?

"Not too long ago a random customer named Hetal reached out to me about building a Johnny Cupcakes Facebook fan page. I was too bogged up with work to really set one up. Not only did this fellow set up an official Johnny Cupcakes fan page for me, but he worked with Facebook and got all of my Facebook group customers switched over to the fan page, as well as customers from some abandoned mystery Johnny Cupcakes fan page. Thanks Hetal! Now I can communicate with my customers in a more organized way."

Thanks Coty! I knew I wasn’t making that up. I bet they are saying its impossbile because everyone will want to convert....but if they can do it for him that means they can do it for anybody.
