emptees ads.

posted about 1 month ago by William.

this is a general question for the few of you who are doing this, but after about a week of having it up, have you guys noticed a spike in traffic due to your emptees ad panel? I’m seriously considering purchasing December ad space, and any advice would be awesome from those who have already invested.

Thanks in advance.

that is a very fair price in my opinion. I paid 200 for 28000 impressions. That’s 60% less than I’d pay for 1 to 2 million.

Good to know guys, thank you.

If you buy the ad you look like a businessman who is advertising a service, and not some random guy trolling. Don’t underestimate the power of positioning your product.

im not saying it dosent look cool, but I do make a point never to click on adverts on any site...sorry

They will work 100% with newcomers etc and thats what you want to hit, more customers is always better.

But I need the funds else where right now.

I made this site last year and look how shit it became because of ads www.socialanimal.co.uk

I know your site will never get like this but all the ads kill the info on some sites.

Website hates: Spalsh pages, flash, music on and adverts or popups

edit: I know im not the target market...and I dont buy tees

I would never personally take out a set fee advertisement contract, without seeing statistics.

Are the ads totally random or do they have some relevance to the page content at the time? Such as, would a LintyFresh advert come up (generally) if LintyFresh were the subject of a blog being read?

I’m a strong believer of Google’s pay-per-click & pay-per-view system, although the conversion rate is generally very low, as is the clicks.

I didn’t say it wasn’t fair. I was just inquiring.

Based on what I see for attention this site gets and the monthly traffic levels, it seems sound.

I’m wondering if traffic on this site has gone down since the main page became a splash page. i had a tee sit on the first page for 2 whole days this week, that hasn’t happened since early january!

geoff, no worries man-- I just based it off what many agencies and sites charge and it seemed reasonable.
