    scan in a 300 dpi
after that size down or up to the maxim size that i would want it printed
and move the dpi down to 150
its basic printing resolution and the line will still come out perfect without taking up tons of space

I’ve just started attempting to digitize my hand drawn stuff (drawn for 14+ years, but i suck at digitizing it lol) but i scan in anywhere from 300-600.
