Just went to this thing today. Crazy shit Banksys doing these days...
If you live in the area and get a chance before Halloween, definitely worth while. A little small, but awesome.
Pictures on my blog.

for someone who practically doesnt exist he sure gets around. I always wonder how he funds these projects?

The price that Brad Pitt & Angelina paid for one of his pieces last year is enough to pay for a couple projects

Amen. Someone today told me that a lot of building owners actually commission him or give him ad rights to the buildings...

The videos make a lot more sense than just the still frames.
Still I would expect more from him.

Take the money and run
This is one of banksys early works and it is opposite my aunts house here in Bristol.
There is a guy who owns a pub in Bristol where Bansky had done a piece of work and hes had that part of the wall removed because people have tried to nick it loads of times (pinch it).
Its lush living in bristol sometimes :)

For me this is Banksy trying to establish himself amongst the contemporary art scene. He has gone from street to gallery and his work is changing rapidly. I was lucky enough to go to one of his illegal shows in London about 7 years ago. I donno what I think of his new stuff but as a name he is HUGE.

i like that his work has a message about modern society. only one i really think is cool is that leopard one. very clever.

despite the long lines, i went on saturday and was kind of disappointed. while i like the message, the whole thing just kind of hits you over the head a little too much. still worth checking out i guess.
sure is nice living in NYC

I took this pic Liverpool. I dont like the direction that his installation is going. I just like a big stencil on a wall but maybe this is more effective

another new banksy piece!
"Another legal commissioned billboard was recently created by Banksy. This time on Houston & McDougall, the billboard painted by Colossal Media on behalf of Banksy features the familiar rat motif with the statement “There’s no such thing as good publicity…” with the small reference to Fox News in the bottom corner."

his rats have somewhat evolved... they look gnarlier these days.
