I have always wanted a scoop coater. We used to use a credit card to make it real thin because there was no money on it anyway, and if there was we would have bought a scoop coater with it. :(

It is super sensitive - usually people use yellow light filters, and that keeps the emulsion from exposing. There is only one light bulb in the room, and its like a 10 watt light bulb. It is just enough to see in there, but its really dim.
The screens are kept so far away from the light source that they dont get exposed by it.
If we used a different emulsion, it would probably effect it more.

Its Ben Folds and Regina Spektor(sp?) . . . I want to say the title is "you dont know me" but Im cant remember since I only saw the music video for this song once . . .
at my shop we just nailed 2by4's in the wall and had a space in between the size of a screen. it works perfect and and the size of our screen room is like 7 feet by 15 feet and we can fit about 45 screens in it at one time it works great. Very cheap too!!! ill take pics one day of the whole shop.
woah.
theres so much interesting and really technical stuff that comes with printing. I wouldve never thought it was that intense.
(this im realizing after watching all the videos that have been posted about this.)
I definitely want to get into this stuff.

you guys should build a rack system to put them onto after coating. you could make one super cheap
FuzzyInk said about 1 month ago
Does it make much of a difference when drying them upside down, as far as the thickness of the stencil on the outside?
jimmyheartcore said about 1 month ago
Yeah, I had two racks on order when we first moved in - then I realized that the floor space worked just fine.
Cole and I were talking last night about building some actually. That room is pretty big and I want to start painting.

We built a big drying cabinet with a dehumidifier and it works great, saves a lot of time as well. Ill try and snap a picture today...
I also think we have the exact same table you have in there but we mix ink on it.
