Hey guys,
I just got a new Mac and hooked up my Cintiq. I also just got CS3 (and soon a CS4 upgrade) and its works fine everywhere EXCEPT when I create a new file in Illustrator. It doesnt load what default brushes Ive come to expect, and it doesnt even give an option for making brushes pressure sensitive.
Ive spent hours pouring over google and wacoms/adobes sites looking for answers but I am stuck.
Do you guys have any ideas why Illy isnt automatically setting this up?
Oh yeah, and whats more is if I open an older file (Made in CS2 on my PC) it not only loads those beloved brushes, but it lets me use them with sensitivity, it just wont let me make any new ones......

Does it work with CS3 on a regular monitor?
...
the cintiq or any other wacom shouldnt have anything to do with the illustrator preset themselves.
id reinstall CS3 and the cintiq driver.
maybe something got over written or moved with the cintiq install?

It ended up just not being the MOST recent driver. Such an easy fix for such a frustrating problem. Thanks though!
