my friend made a tazer out of a disposable camera.

anyone ever do this?

It hurts pretty bad. It’s only 15 volts whereas a police issued taser is 15000 volts.

No pictures, I was laughing too hard to remember that I had a phone with a camera.

   we actually each put a car key on one of the two prongs and pounded fist to complete the circuit and like flew back. It was cool and educational.

   Then we did the same thing with 5 people to complete a huge circuit. Low and behold it still worked.

   Many many moons ago, I got suspended from high school for having a "homemade stun gun" made out of a transformer out of a stereo and like 2 nine volt batteries. The principal called my dad and asked if he would like to come pick it up, and my dad told him, no, I was perfectly capable of making another one if I wanted to.

   It’s awesome how the longer you hold the flash button, the more powerful the SHOCK seems when you get pronged.

   It’s really hard to take out of your pocket and not get zapped, i’ve found. It’s better to just carry it everywhere rather than making the always futile attempt to holster that bad boy.

    I have 3 of those.... I almost got expelled when I was in grade 9.... man that was like 8 years ago.. crazy. Anyways... They are so fun to use. The first one me and my buddy built caught on fire, so we kept using more. We just went to a photolab in a grocery store and said we needed used cameras for science projects because we didnt need the film.

    My principal was the best though. He looked at it and was like... hmm you boys made a genius thing here, too bad it could be a weapon because if you made this for one of my science classes I’d give you an A.

    And then he was like suspension with possible expulsion.. hurt my day but Im good and got out of it

    That’s an awesome story. You should have threatened the principal with it and demanded he agree to your terms and comply to any and all demands you may have had... like not telling your parents about your little incident.
