Rap Rock

posted 2 months ago by Simply Complicated

I don’t know if that is what you call it but that is what it sounds like to me..I actually like it..it’s weird.

Listening to Hollywood Undead..doubt anybody likes them but I do haha

Know of anybody else that has this kind of sound?

Back in the day I remember there being underground rap/rock bands. Down, Manhole (a chick rapping I believe), wasn’t E Town Concrete kinda rap/rock? Oh, and Ice Tea’s hardcore band, Body Count, hahaha. Good stuff.

They are HORRIBLE live. We played with them. They take themselves way too seriously. We drew a better crowd than they did, and that’s pretty pathetic.

edward furlong much? I happened to catch them on TRL’s unsigned bands day. They sucked bad.

And Gym Class Heroes sucks hardcore. Its like Gwen Stefani Syndrome where the band is completely expendable. Travis needs to shave his unibrow and take off those lame fake emo glasses.

E Town Concrete are hardcore. Bands such as Deez Nuts, Furious styles, Cold World and Rzl Dzl would be considered Hip Hop/Hardcore. Beastie Boys were hardcore and then pushed towards Hip Hop so some of their stuff can be included in this.

Rap rock is a terrible genre.. RATM are well over rated, good, but over rated. They’re also pretty hypocritical, but I wont get into that. Zebrahead aren’t bad but I’d personally consider them more Punk Rap.

Stuck Mojo were amazing, listen to 'Not promised tomorrow'.

    Everything else is pretty dire.

Just my two cents.. If you don’t like it.. Care?
