Hi there.
Fair and Bare is a small website that runs a design competition and prints on Organic Cotton Fair Trade tees in the UK.
I was just wondering why there were not more designs being submitted there?
Your thoughts...
UPDATE:
FAB have announced that they are going to be printing on a regular bi monthly basis. 2 more shirts are going to be printed this year in November and December. They have also increased the colour limit to 6 colours. Hopefully there will be some more designs up for voting.

Traffic doesn’t seem to be very heavy on fair and bare, my design managed to get 1 vote since it was approved, and finished designs don’t seem to go over 17 votes after their 1.5 month run.
I can understand people not submitting under these conditions.

For anything web based you need traffic, without it you’re nothing.

Gumbolimbo I saw your design, it is cool, I like that bike!
Indeed if trafic is not flowing through the site, then its difficult, but if more people sub designs, and get their fans to vote on them, then I’m sure things start snowballing from there. I just think that it is a great initiative to make fair trade organic cotton shirts, and having bought Wotto’s Tree Huggin', am really impressed with the quality.
So I thought I’d bring your attention to the site....

Hey guys, thanks for kind words and feedback here. Just to respond to some points.
Wotto’s is the only shirt - sure only 1 design has been selected, but then only 20 in total in our lifetime have been submitted. I can understand people holding off submitting to guage activity, but we live off submissions and can only print stuff if we actually have the designs people want. It’s a bit of a vicious circle.
I am fully committed to our ethics and to keep getting the shirts printed, but I need your help to do so with subs, votes and purchases. I’m even hoping to print some simpler single colour design ideas myself by hand to support the main competition. Our next competition print is coming soon so please keep submissions coming and keep on voting.

@make_planes_not_waste - Sign up > login. Under the participate banner > submit ideas. That will allow you upload your sub to the site and you’ll get an email once we’ve checked it over.
