Here’s one I started working on for Pierce The Veil but they don’t like it. I’m still going to finish it and try to pitch it to another band. Gonna add a pterodactyl.

your truck looks a bit flat. itd be good to draw it a bit more 3D. Mabey show rest of the truck in an angle? Or mabey tilt the whole truck to show it was speeding in a sharp corner?

human dental formula is 2-1-2-3 incisor, canine, premolar, molar. so an entire upper or lower jaw would be 4-2-4-6. your man has 8 upper incisors and 6 lower. I can’t offer much artistic advice but i can hook you up on the anatomics!

although looking at it a second time it isn’t really a human, so carry on!

The 500 width limit is squishing these. Ah well. Look at the large image on Flickr if you are curious.

The text is still a bit placeholder, but I have the inks just about completed.

The brief called for a design that could be colored or printed as lineart. I’m happy with the level of detail on this one and can think of a few ways to color it. I’m waiting for client feedback and will post the finished image after that.

I have a heap of work on my Flickr account that hasn’t made the voyage to the main blog. Additionally, I added a Twitter update to my sidebar and am trying to frequently update there as well.

i really dont understand how your lines are so clean. its a true mystery to me. There better then the pen tool!

I just practice inking a lot. I do lots of squiggles and flourishes that I know will never be good for anything other than practice.

I go for fast strokes, consistent pressure regulations. I try to think of my arm like the end of a vinyl plotter.
