It seems like there's a couple of these types of threads consistently in the top ten. So in an attempt to clean up the boards a little, please report any suspicious design activity here. Any other rip threads are going to be deleted or asked to be moved by the moderators Remember before you post, the best course of action is always to contact the artist or company being infringed upon first before making these things public. There are some serious cases here! I guess we can not actually tell someone is ripping anything just because the style is similar. We all started to to do something that looked like something that we saw somewhere and eventually we ended up finding our own way to do things. Shantz is a great artist and his style is very "clean" and eye-catcher so it's normal some people start to do some stuff similar, just to take an example. Imo, that's not ripping, that's simply lack of creativity. And that's appliable to the "tee's subject" stuff, like that skate bail, anyone can pick one ideia and do anything like that. For me, ripping, is like some stuff above, like that Survival ripping, when some uses your design or produce something really similar, changing the colour scheme for example. Unfortunatelly, we can't do anything about any of the cases and they will just keep showin' up. Just my two cents... 71631

I also think he was inspired. The hand in the "original" is more realistic as the fingers aren't completely wrapped around the knife, as the one in the "ripped" version are. Which is in no way possible ofcourse, but that shows he didn't trace this image. As for the hair, i think you're aspecially referring to the two locks of hair in the front. Heavily inspired but not traced as far as i can see. In the "rip", one lock of hair is almost touching his eye, in the "original" it isn't. 71631

Views can’t be copyrighted, but ownership of images you’ve produced can be.
