Jimmy Heartcore says:I think it would be cool to do a shirt with just "Zombies" since everyone on here is so addicted to them.

Then, if anyone wants to do animal zombies, or get creative they they can.

Let’s set these guidelines - your zombie must consist of no more than 3 colors, and fill AT LEAST top to bottom of a 6"x6" canvas at 300 dpi. Keep in mind that it might shrink down a little, so super small details might not show through in the final print. The colors that you make your zombie should be highly contrasting (ex. Magenta, Blue, Black) but the colors you choose might not necessarily be the final color that your zombie is printed.

Email your zombie with the subject "ZOMBIE SHIRT" to jimmy@heartcoreclothing.com if you want your zombie on the shirt.

I think what we should do is presale them to everyone, but have a special page where the artists can get theirs for like $3 or something - that way the sales of the shirt basically go into giving back to the people who contributed. It seems like it would get kind of messy trying to divide up the profits for something like this.

Get involved! What does it take like 30 minutes to put something simple like this together?

    if we’re going to do this we need to at least do it legit. I don’t mean to be a jerk, but I don’t really trust you running this.

    not only that.. but 50 shirts? one colour? putting up money?

    also.. who takes the $ on sales?

    this needs to be thought through quite a bit more.. seems like you just sort of jumped into it off the bat.

    Here’s what should happen:

    Someone needs to collect and organize 50 artists for the design, and determine a palette and a theme for the artists to adhere to. Then, one artist should be assigned the task of organizing it on the shirt. Then the design would be posted here and sold or submitted to one of the larger contests (10k would make sense) and the money divvied up to the contributors.

    No one’s going to want to design a shirt and then front the cash for it to be printed, because the good designers here aren’t that desperate to see their stuff on a tee...

    It would be cool if instead of getting money. The prize winnings are used to buy a bunch of cool prizes that everyone decides on and we do a raffle where the first person chosen picks what prize they want.

    I’m also unsure about the almost zero contrast purple on black.
    I wish this thread could be a little more positive but it does seem a bit half-hatched.

    so Ill take the money up front heat bc I didn’t think we had someone like Jimmy that would do a print of w/e was ordered and was going to work threw my printer out of nyc.
    O.k so yea we might be Nooobs but you gotta set the chance up for us to prove that we can do it!

    Why don´t we just get back what we put in plus one tee each and the rest should go to a good cause! It´ll take me 30 mins to draw a small zombie animal. Charity bitches do you do it?

    I was thinking even do self portraits

    Lets clear the boards but make sure this happens.
    maybe to give this more of a design once we have everyone signed up see if we can group maybe 10 artists per shirt(depends if jimmy wants to do all that work)
