That reminds me I got to take some better shots with a slightly more interesting location . . . but I dunno how that’s gonna work without a tripod . . .

To be honest, I think modeling your own shirts is only worth it if you know you’re decent looking.

But you, AndrewOlive... are a good lookin' dude.

    I’m not gay, I promith.

I used to rock my own shirts in the photos. Actually the peeps in the company and I would take turns doing it.
Except for the chick, she had to do it every time for the girls tees.. haha.

    The first two are nice.

I did a vintage store on ebay, and really depending on the type of clothing I was selling (it seemed a lot of my customers were of the "I’m super artsy" persuasion and were really serious about wearing ugly dresses from the 70s.) would dictate what type of pictures I did. Mostly when I could I tried to just have my friends model (fortunate to hang out with a lot of fine ass shorties) and we would just shoot the shit and be kind of ridiculous so the pictures felt natural and we were just having fun.

I think that’s usually the best way about it with t-shirts cause they are, you know, fun. Threadless I think does a pretty good job of this sometimes (sometimes not) and DBH I think should try to jump this train, not necessarily being cheesy according to the theme of the tee every single time, but you can only take so much dude who looks like he would never wear the t staring pensively into the distance (you know that one guy on DBH)

Using a model that your target audience thinks is attractive is key I think.
