Or at least, thats what it feels like! Check out some of the latest refinements to LF!
----------------------
Yay, washing machine printed! After some consideration I decided to adapt this idea for a countertop instead of trying to precariously balance it on my roof. Id like to think it was a good decision. I still need to build a wooden frame for it so its not all floppy-like, but yeah. You get the picture!
Assorted signage for the show in Chicago.
These were printed by the talented Mr. Lauder (thats Derisory Designs' mastermind, if youre wondering). In hindsight, I probably wont do these this way again due to complications in the printing and the overkill thickness of the actual envelopes. Still, itll be a little while before I use em all up. Theyre going to go into circulation once the last of my paper mailers is used up, although I did just package one order in one of these...
And here it is! This ones going out to Heavyprints. Hes ordered quite a few tees from me in the past, so it only seemed right that hed get the first of the new packaging!
I sometimes like to think of LF as this living, breathing monster (I rather like monsters if you havent noticed) thats slowly conquering the house. My office/room is already full to the brim of LF goodies, and now the garage has been infected!
Sneak peek!
----------------------
Anyhow, thought Id share some of the excitement of my day. Its nice to finally be able to sit back and relax after all the craziness with orders yesterday (not that Im complaining!), and this was a nice little bonus!

Yes sir. Renegade Craft, downtown Chicago on W. Division St, Sept 13 and 14. I actually messaged Ross Z. about it on Flickr but never heard back. See you there?
Its probably best if you get a quote directly from Jeremy. Im sure there are unique factors with each job. :D

i just read your profile and discovered you desing in flash MX, you crazy son of gun!!!
is this still the case?
"Crazy" Mike said 3 months ago
It just dawned on me but on your mailers since the design covers the whole front does it mean the address label goes on the side where the flap closes?

Your washing machines reminded me of a piece of art we have locally here in filton, Bristol. http://www.jacksonharris.co.uk/oct/brick15.htm
Its made from glazed bricks .
We are really lucky to have alot of Bansky work around bristol, and i think this might have been inspired sorta by him.
Its much better in real life.
Its on a building which had a laundry in it in the late 1800's. So from a distance these machines look real.

"Crazy" Mike said 3 months ago
Derisory Designs . . . he mentions it in the first post.
Stephan.GFX said 3 months ago
Yea I read that, but when I looked up their site it only showed screen printing. Or maybe Im not seeing it?
Derisory Designs said 3 months ago
Hey Stephan, those envelopes are screen printed. And my website needs a major update. If your interested in a quote email me at derisorydesigns@yahoo.com
Stephan.GFX said 3 months ago

Youre branding is just sooooooooooo nice.
Inspiring stuff dude.
gameyy said 3 months ago
Hey guys, thanks again so much for all the kind words. A lot of things that are coming out now are the results of ideas that Ive had for ages, and its great to finally be able to bring them to fruition and share them with everybody. I actually just ran across an old notebook today that had the washing machine and the packaging sketched out. They looked totally different then, but it was kind of neat.
Omni said 3 months ago
You sir, is an inspiration to us! Keep up the good work!

What show in Chicago are you doing?

gameyy said 3 months ago
Yup. I have illustrator and occasionally I color in photoshop. But 99.9% of the time its flash. To me, its just so much cleaner and intuitive than AI.
