Do you get any customer problems?

posted 3 months ago by breakaway123

I was thinking of starting my own online store soon...but I was wondering about what happens if a customer doesn’t like the shirt or says that he didn’t receive the shirt etc.

Do they call you or email you? And what do you do in those situations?

Hopefully it wouldn’t happen very often.

    Delivery confirmation.
And if they say they don’t like the shirt, there’s nothing they can do as long as it’s the right size they ordered and it fits the description. I’d have that clearly stated in a FAQ section in your site.

most of my customer problems happen from kids who order like 6 belts and think that 10 business days doesnt equal two weeks, but maybe 3 days.

as for returns, if someone will shell out the cash to mail it back to me, ill switch a size out. never had someone say they didnt like the actual shirt.

If on a true massive and professional level, my old bosses said that if you are a direct supplier, not middle man printer or what not, a company should get liability insurance just in case someone tries to sue your apparel company. Allergic reaction to fabric, weird sexual accidents, etc. Litigious scoundrels!

i think you can right any term into ur condition but ull always get really annoying customer complaints that ull have to sort out.. sometimes its really not worth your time arguing with a really stupid customer imo

I suppose it depends which contry you are in and how you choose to sell them ie just on-line or in a bricks and mortar store.

If in the UK and you sell on-line you must comply with the Distance selling regulations, which are totally in favour of the buyer, and they can send an item back for whatever reason within 28days of receipt.

so are you saying there are a lot of guys out there that got something itchy from you?

oh yeah, and having a guarantee like jon’s helps instill confidence in customers that you are not going to rip them off. occasionally you might have some returns for sizing, but its best to just take care of them quickly.
