1st Public Exposure!

hey so I have been doing some designs for a local band, and I asked if I could try and sell some of my shirts off there Merch table.

haha what a classic way to start a apparel company! 2 tee’s at the end of a bands table in a little community hall packed with 250+ people.

I got a decent taste of the market.. even though it was hard selling to 75% of the punk / hardcore kids since all they were wearing was black/grunge shirts.

But I did end up selling 7! and im pretty happy with that.. given the audience.

anyways I learned abit and the music was decent. Means headlined.

ps. I dont smile.

    awesome man. that’s a good way to get your stuff noticed. hangout at shows, get to be friends with bands and try to set up a merch table. also, when big bands come through, offer them free merch to help you with advertising. a lot of bands are down for that.

    I was all for doing that at this show but only one of them would like the look. I’m trying to find the indie/alternative/acoustic scene, but its so little were I am. if anyone has any band suggestions like that., that would be sweet.
