When they played on Jimmy Kimmel/Jay Leno before the tour they were amazing. We missed Chester French and Taking Back Sunday, which didn't bother me. Weezer was fucking great, but then again I'm a huge Weezer mark and they're always great live. It was odd to see Pat Wilson playing guitar for most of the songs, but it didn't detract from the performance. Rivers still soloed on a few songs. <a href="http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/weezer/2009/comcast-theatre-hartford-ct-6bd7a226.html">Setlist</a> So about 30 minutes later Blink comes out. I'm admittedly not a huge fan, but they sounded pretty damn good and better than these videos showed. DJ AM had died the night before and they acknowledged how hard the show was for them and had a moment of silence. Travis didn't say anything the whole night, not sure if he ever does. It wasn't the longest set, but the crowd seemed very pleased. I was impressed by the size of the Comcast arena, it holds a hell of a lot of people. Tom sang ok and Mark and Tom said some seriously funny stuff. Fall Out Boy was extremely sloppy though. Joe kept adding in just stupid awful riffs that aren't on the albums. He seriously sounded like he was just learning guitar or maybe he was just drunk.
