Really need some advice on where to go with my company now. Have one design out at the moment, sales are flowing, not as great as i had hoped but its not dead, just need some pointers on what i could improve on and if you think i am doing anything wrong.

Oh my my my! I say get the pic of the chick on myspace and use that as a banner ad. Place it on all the t-shirt blog sites and you'll surely get the traffic. And oh yeah try to put up more designs.

I have just put that as the dp on myspace, do i ask the t shirt blogs to put me on or do i just put a comment on the blogs???

I like the background of the site, like the colors, but the site and myspace could both use an upgrade.
Also, in most cases when I see independent stores, the ones that are usually succeeding are the ones that are really in touch with their customers and get them involved. Like Johnny Cupcakes for example, he updates a blog daily and keeps his customers in the loop.
Do little things that make your customers feel special, send candy when they order stuff.. or little toys that go along with the product you are selling - I personally love when companies do this and you can get this stuff for pretty cheap.
You have a lot of diamonds in your designs - check out this novelty company, they have diamond rings (or diamond bouncy balls they are awesome) that are just little extras - even if someone throws it away.

I know, the myspace and the website need an upgrade, but i need to find someone affordable who can do that for me as i do not have a clue, the gift with every shirt is an awesome idea and i would love to have a blog but id prefer to have a blog on the actual site rather than a blogspot or blogger so i will have to wait until i have a proper site until that is done.

Here's my two cents. No more diamonds. Everyone and there mom are using diamonds. You will be categorized as 'one of those' companies.
Also, I was never a big fan of when people add the word 'clothing' at the end of their names. But that's just me.

Yeah, when we first did our design it said backfire clothing on it, but then when the tees were printed, i decided not to have clothing on it as it looks kind of corny, basically we are known as Backfire, not Backfire clothing, it just started as clothing.
On another note, the diamonds are gone, they will not be on another design, as you said, its just too common and we need to be unique, cheers johnny and monuments.
