1. (make a 'horizontal version of the brush)make canvas- use brush- flip canvas- select-define brush.

2. (make it 'horizontal on the fly) make new layer- use brush- flip layer.

am I right in thinking that's what you meant?</body>

      <body>in the brush presents, under the brush tip shape, you can change the angle of the brush to a specific degree or manually with the little circle thing.

      <body>I have elements on my school computer and it has a free rotation thing on it... I found it really odd that when I got CS4 it didn't have it. </body>

      <body>wait... in the brushes toolbox thing. That little circle where you can rotate the brush there should be two handles that let you rotate it so that a circle would be more of an oval. I think that is what you are talking about.</body>
