   I think it’s going to be funny as shit. The movie looks way more light hearted than the book, which I remember being a lot darker, but it should still be really awesome.

   I read it on the bus to D.C. when I was thirteen! it was sweet.

    The movie looks really entertaining from the trailer! And enough like the book according to what I remember of it since I read it such a long time ago, but yeah way more fun and light hearted. Sam Rockwell is a babe it’s good they kind of made him look shitty in this movie cause I never pictured whats his head to be attractive really

    That’ll be sick. Derek mentioned that Survivor is being developed too. That’s my favorite of his so far so I’m really looking forward to that.

    survivor was a great book. id love to see it as a movie. i’m reading haunted right now, then starting on rant. i also finished Snuff, which was, odd, but dark and entertaining.

    I’d love to see all of Chuck’s books made into movies. Survivor was in the works at one time but I’m not sure what happened to it.

    I hope they make Choke as well as any others as good as Fight Club.. though it’d be a tough to beat it.

    9/11 happened. it was set to go into production, and then they were like "ummmm maybe this isn’t the best time to release this movie...."
    Sucks cuz it’s probably my favorite book of his.
    Rant was amazing and the end just blows you away, the only book of his i don’t really like is Diary. I just finished Snuff, it was alright.

    I haven’t read Rant yet. Since he only has so many books I’m slowly going through them. I’m currently reading Diary but I just can’t seem to get into it as easily as I did the others.

    Have you read Haunted? Great stuff.

    Rant is actually the first in a trilogy of books he is writing about that charecter, (which is good for me because I wasn’t a real fan of then ending and I’d like to see how he resolves it.) His book of non fiction short stories, stranger than fiction, is one of his best.

    I felt/feel the same way. I’ve tried to get into Haunted a few times but it hasn’t worked out... except the pearl diving/pool suction story

    I think i’ve read everything fiction he’s done...and stranger than fiction.
    for some reason diary just doesn’t grab you, to me it was just really really strange and i just couldn’t get into it, it was by no means bad, it’s just not a "oh my god i have to finish this in one sitting" book.
    if you like Palahniuk check out Will Christopher Baer’s Phineas Poe trilogy, and Warren Ellis' Crooked Little Vein, soooooooo good.
