Ask for a sample print of any specialty inks you’re planning on using on your prints so you have a better idea what they’ll be like before sinking money into the full run!

Luckily I avoided this mistake my showing my first print to many regular people along with artists. I made revisions and showed the revisions to them and then when I was finally comfortable and confident in the final design, I ordered them.
It helps if you have art buddies to go to.
