<body>I always search first, since it's a pet peeve of mine to see double posted threads and all.

Does Anyone else think emptees TALK section, would benefit from breaking up into side sections?

i know we have " CHAT " "EXCHANGE" and "HYPE" buttons, but I was thinking separate sections for

" questions &amp; answers "
" designs for sale " ( mostly because I'm getting really tired of seeing so many of the same posts on the front page )
" tee talk " actual posts relevant to the tee industry ( whether it be new line previews, printing methods, and the such )
" maybe contests? "
" general " ( everything else : movie news, new music, names to faces )

maybe it's a bad idea, who knows. just getting some input.

* i'm aware this is a free website, just saying i would like these things. </body>

I'll search for things sometimes and threads will come up in the results that i have looked through and had no idea why it got through the filtering.</body>

      <body>Changing the name won't help.

Maybe an option for artist to _____write in a price, and an option for buyers to filter by price. I think that would be more practical.

Filter Designs for sale by:
Under $100
Over $100
(something simple, not sure what this part will look like)

I really want this, all these sale post are getting out of hand, and the email the designer isn't cutting it any more. I think it would be a great benefit to artist and clients and help with the over posting a little bit.

It's about time Emptees had another big update.

Please make it.</body>

+1 indeed

I also think it would be kinda cool if under the shirt thumbnail, it had an icon and amount of loves for the most loved tee shirt on that person's profile
not beneficial for anyone at all really, but cool</body>

<body>just another thought, it would be cool (sorting stealing from ebay) if everyone had like a coloured star or circle next to there name and eac colour means how many loves over how many designs....so say if someone has adverage 50 loves per design it would be a different colour to someone who has average 10 loves a design....only problem then we would have to all know what the colours mean....unless it was like a tone thing....like the lighter the shade the higher loves.......there would be a heap of blacks around such as myself haha.....or as "jeremiah was a" said have it on each thumbnail image....it would be cool </body>

that wouldnt be good, cause then us not so well known people wouldnt be able to get many jobs and it will be the 'rich' get 'richer' while the 'poor' get 'poorer' type thing

but a feedback section, or just a comment lke section would be good so we can just talk to other designers without commenting images would be good.</body>

i agree. That sounds like a really good idea.

I like how simple emptees is, so only some small revisions should be made. If there are a whole bunch of complex changes, I think emptees will lose something.

I also liked Greg's idea about the "vote now" button and the editable details thing.

I don't want to sound mean, but I think all of those ideas would be really bad. I think it would make it a lot harder for new people to get work with a system like that.</body>

<body>The talk section is something I love about this site but if it were divided into slightly more specific categories that would be nice, and also possibly beneficial to the community as a whole.

1. Some sort of general discussion area, names to faces, look what I just bought, etc... Everything we know and love as a community put into one area where we can be a bit less serious.

2. Self promotion, sketches, specific critique and questions relevant to design of all types. This would be a more serious section.

3. Seeking artists section for bands and companies to post in. This also makes it easier for artists to find those notices and get those emails going. This would be a very serious section and not for people asking "how would I start my clothing company" that would go in my #2 section.

By dividing these up, it allows quicker access to topics of relevance or irrelevance. Easier flow of information between clothing lines, bands and artists. All at the same time keeping the same general feel of the Emptees talk section that we all know and love.

My 2 cents. </body>
