My shirts usually get screwed up in the wash -- fading, peeling over time, etc. Some friends have suggested turning shirts inside out while washing them, not machine drying them, things like that.
So, what do you do to take care of your shirts besides the usual wash and dry?

basically what you said. i always wash them inside out on cold and never ever put them in the dryer. my roomie freaks out when i have like 30 tee shirts hanging on the shower rod.

I whisper sweet nothings in their ear.
I do the dishes for them when they are tired. I send them roses to the closet when they are having a bad day.
I know how to take care of a shirt.

inside out works the best for fading IMO

I have my mom wash them. For real.

I wish that were an option. Unfortunately, when my mom used to do my laundry, shirts would mysteriously get small bleach stains on them. Bitch.

someone is feeling sassy today.
i have my girlfriend do mine.
she got all "i know how to take care of shirts" on me when i told her to turn them inside out, on cold water. Should i really let them air dry? it takes forever, and they always feel weird after.

"Read the tag" rhymes with "on the rag". Weird.

You might have to start wearing lady deodorant - we are lucky and get that "no white marks" guarantee on certain kinds of Rexona and stuff.

Oh and hang your shirts inside out too - in the shade - and if you really love the shirt that much I would recommend hanging it to dry on a padded coat hanger - and you wont even need to iron that sucker.
