We just opened our first Cinema De Lux, ( new chain of theatres ) in KY last week, and the Director of the company handed me passes and told me to look sharp.

( I had previously mentioned that If we could open the theatre without a hitch, he should send me to a hollywood premiere, I was floored when it actually happened )

i watched it imax last night, and just took down every piece of promotional material from our theatre ( which KYLE - they are making us hold EVERYTHING for up to 30 days ( something we've never done before ) before turning it over, so who knows whats happening, but I still got your back.

I took one of each trailer home with me. theres still a shit ton laying around.

im sitting in the office waiting for the last show to start so i can start to run the reels through the projector, we have 5 prints, 1 imax. its going to be a long night.

everyone was surprisingly quiet yesterday! the guy sitting next to me was like a diehard Batman bro and he got all giggly before really sweet shit happened, but that was cute not annoying. it was nice. especially since The Hulk midnight showing I went to was full of loud and craaazy people

Regarding the Bat Pod...
Warning, may contain spoilers!Did you notice how the front wheel started spinning on a different axis while the bike skidded out of the alley? Everything is possible in such movies but that didn't mechanically convince me. Probably that is why the scene was covered in dust when the whole thing happened.

Holy crap was this amazing. Everything about it met my expectations. As far as future villains and Robin, my friend who is a die hard comic fan told me Bale said he wont be Batman if they bring Robin in to the story line and that they are trying to keep the villains to be as realistic as possible. I loved the fact that the house wasnt finished yet. I also loved how that dude has to keep his secret because he saved his life. The joker was flawless and such a bummer that we will no longer see the joker again. I think eckharts performance was amazing. Way better than I expected. The origin of two face in this movie was outstanding... I loved it, fucking incredible. When i first saw the batpod I thought it was gonna be gay as fuck, turns out it was one of my favorite things.

I also liked the funny thing they put in with the past costumes (you want to be able to move your head)

and that it could withstand a cat... so good, I dont know if anyone else got those jokes...

Id like to see lucious actually build and make something though, not just magically have something...

Also dont think theres gonna be a new batmobile or tumbler, because if you remember right... They said there were 2 of them

I cant wait to get the production book of this movie next tuesday. I am so excited to see how they did two faces make up. I heard it wasnt digital except with movements, but still I am confused and impressed with how they did it...

this was seriously one of the best movies I had ever seen...

I also disagree with people who said that the ending was lame. I thought it was good and brought a solid conclusion and even though people say there are no open doors, I feel there are plenty. I cant wait to see this again (Probably sunday)

saw it today and it seems like some other people, it was my favorite batman by far until the last 20/30 mins. not that i disliked the ending, but it dragged on too long. they could have cut it short at least 20 mins and i do understand why they needed to clean up the two face thing, it kind of ruined the overall experience for me. and heath ledger was awesome.

This may sound slim to none, but could Gordon's kid (the one who was held at gun point by Harvey) be Batman's future protege, Robin?
Bale has stated he won't be included if Robin was added. Also, Nolan also stated he will leave the Batman franchise after the 3rd and continue with something else. With all this, Nolan may leave a foreshadow of Robin's character for the next director who may take in charge of the 4th Batman.
Robin's death is one of the main climatic point in Batman's life. Maybe a new story base around it?
The introduction of Red Hood would be awesome too.

saw it last night at 12 ... absolutely ridiculous. ledgers part was flawless and had some pretty funny lines. the opening scene just setup the entire movie for me. i'm definitely seeing this again. and as far as the next movie .. i have no clue where they'll take it but i doubt they'll top this one.

Well Barbara is BatGirl, so making Gordon's son Robin would be a bit lame.
I'd like to see Robin introduced, but since they're keeping a pretty realistic timeline, I don't think we'll see him for awhile, not to mention what has been said by Bale.
When has a villain that just took a fall ever really been dead? Two-Face is still alive.
I want to see hardcore ScareCrow, not cillian murphy in a suit ScareCrow, and Patric Stewart needs to play Mr. Freeze.

the joker was the most convincing villain i have ever seen, ledger was no short of incredible. he reminded me a lot of Sugar from No Country For Old Men, in that he is a true bad ass. Sugar doesn't really have a reason for why he does what he does, he just does it, as does the Joker. But the psychopathic nature of the Joker, a la the various tales of the scars, and the mannerisms make that type of villain all the more convincing, I was terrified and very moved. The only problem with this movie was there wasn't enough Joker. Also, they can 86 the opening scene with Scarecrow, it's annoying to me when sequels bring back the villian from the prior movie, which they struggled so much with beating, and now do it effortlessly.

i know nolan is done after the third film ( he's said it many times from what I understand )

i would be ok, with two or three smaller villians, maybe teaming up in a non schumacher kinda way.

for whatever reason i always picture the penguin in nolans world as a wealthy man, a corrupt business tycoon with a thing for exotic birds. i always get this mental image of PSH sitting in his penthouse apartment with the shades pulled down, light barely peeking through, and just laying there on his bed surrounded by bird seed as birds just peck and swarm over his fat naked body.

i imagine him and in the shadows guy, actually i was thinking an old librarian of sorts, if given a back story, does he need a back story? could we really just have some crazys already in arkham?

and i think crispin glover could pick up ledgers joker alright, if need be.

as for riddler, i dont think it would work anymore, not with ledgers joker the way it was, especially the web campaign.

but i do think bringing in someone as the ventriloquist would be great.

Nolan said he'd be more excited to have Phillip Seymor Hoffman than have the character of the Penguin. I don't even think they should make a third one. They already used the two best villains. If anyone should be the bad guy in the third one, it should be Bane. They completely screwed him up in Batman & Robin.

I just saw it and I'm already stoked for the sequel. I think its too soon to bring in Robin or Catwomen. As for villains I'd like to see them stick with one of the main ones most people know. I think that's one of the reasons TDK has been so successful. Either The Riddler (my pick), Two Face (however they wanna do that), Penguin, Mr Freeze, or Ivy. Not sure what villain he'd play but Kevin Spacey did awesome playing a villain in Se7en.

He's not really a Mexican wrestler...read up on him. He'd make sense as the villain for the third movie because:
He's been known to be a vigilante and take down crime lords (mirrors batman)
Is actually intelligent (like the joker)
Backstory is somewhat interesting
and he breaks Batman's back.

I second your opinion. And personally I don't think a whole movie can be made as the Riddler, doesn't have enough substance in the comics to make a whole movie on him. Plus I think a movie based on the Riddler would just suck. Two-face isn't dead, so we will see him again. I'd personally love to see Bane. since all the current villians have been ruined by the George Clooney/Val Kilmer movies, Bane is the only one in my opinion that wasn't terribly ruined. Highly doubt they would use him though.

My prediction for Batman 3:

Main Villian: Two-Face
Small side villian story of: Penguin or Riddler
Scene of Joker acting insane in the Asylum, but no real view of him.
