Consequentially, they probably also aren't as concerned with the final product since their livelihood doesn't depend on it and they can't get all the proper equipment in their parent's basement anyway. Also, they may treat you right up front, but if something goes wrong they have absolutely no reason to try and fix the problem or make it any better, since this is just a hobby to them.
