<body>I always wondered that myself, what can you do, the HDD your backup onto is no different than the one you work on, so either can fail. So how many do you use to backup when any of them can go. I tend to backup certain important things online too, just to be sure. but you cant always do that. I know how you feel, a few months ago I lost my portfolio worth of stuff... it was all crappy stuff, but none the less disappointing.</body>

Oh that sucks..I just had a different yet similar issue in that I somehow lost fonts that now won't let me change original graphic design stuff - so I will technically have to redo a lot of the typo..

Refreshing is a nice positive way to look at it!</body>

Say what? Seems to be working with my machine.... Still wouldn't have helped if the HD you are using for time machine craps out. I've been using &lt;a href="http://www.sugarsync.com/"&gt;Sugarsync&lt;/a&gt; to back up crucial stuff.

I'd suggest everyone use some kind of online backup or at least spending $30 on a stack of dvd's and burn all that shit from time to time!</body>
