    well, i suppose i should answer this..

    we were originally planning to go to six flaggs on thursday, but we had decided a couple of days before to go to a friend’s lake house with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday which was the next day (today). around noon we were sitting on the dock while my nieces and nephew were playing in the water, and we talked about how pretty it would look at night. later in the evening we decided to go back out on the dock and watch the sunset. we grabbed a blanket out of my car, and although my mom wanted to cover us in "off" bug spray, luckily i asked her if she had some citronella candles instead, and surprisingly she had two that had never even been used.

    right as the sun was almost completely gone, we were just sitting there, being cuuuute, talking about how happy we were to have each other. then the next thing i remember is him looking at me, and then realizing he was holding a ring in his hand, no box, just a ring! then, of course, he asked me to be his wife. :)) after i said yes, the rest is all a little bit of a blur. honestly i pretty much went into shock. i was speechless and out of breath for about 5 minutes. but then eventually everything started to sink in, and we just sat there and hugged.

    after about 15 minutes we decided to walk back up to the house to tell my family, even though apparently they already knew. it was an incredible night, and i wouldn’t change a single thing. :)

    well, we met like 4 1/2 years ago at school. we had a typography class together, and i would always notice her but was way too shy to go up and talk to her!! but one day she came up to me and loved the t-shirt i was wearing and asked if i made it. i was wearing a shirt of my old old clothing company Castor. and asked if she could buy one.

    unfortunately she was with someone at the time, but we became really close and such good friends. we both kind of always had a thing for each other but remained friends and did a lot of growing up. then a little over a year ago we started dating and it was just.. perfect.

    but it was alllll because of a t-shirt =D
